SFT High School Aviation Experience
Sydney Flight Training, a CASA Part 141 accredited flying school at Bankstown Airport, offers an aviation experience designed specifically for high school students exploring careers in aviation or studying engineering.

This immersive programme provides practical insights whilst offering students the opportunity to commence their aviation journey through our Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) training.

Our experience day comprises a structured visit to our training facility, incorporating hands-on activities.​ Students receive personalised instruction from our experienced flight instructors, gaining valuable insights into the aviation sector.​

What's Included

A professional pre-flight briefing covering fundamental aviation concepts.

A Trial Introductory Flight (TIF) with a qualified instructor, where they'll have hands-on control of the aircraft.

The session includes practical engineering exposure, allowing students to explore aircraft systems and engine operations.

For an alternative experience we can replace the flight with time in our Flight Simulator, while maintaining the same ground instruction.
