Project Description
Design Feature
Design Feature (DF)
Aircraft manufacturers have varied the design of modern aircraft to gain advantage in the operation of some aircraft. This can add new features to the basic aircraft. This also increases the complexity of an aircraft to achieve a gain (example: less drag). Two common features are:
- Retractable Undercarriage/Gear
- Manual Propeller Pitch Control (sometimes referred to as ‘constant speed’ propeller)
Our instructors a Sydney Flight Training can teach a pilot all theory and practical aspects of these design features. Our fleet includes aircraft with these features. The syllabus includes classroom briefings and approximately 5 hours of aircraft practical flying.
Popular Courses
Recreational Pilot Licence
The Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) course is the first step in becoming a pilot. Upon completion of this course, the RPL authorises you to fly as pilot in command of a single engine aircraft during the day with passengers.
Private Pilot Licence
Your PPL gives you true freedom of flight. It authorises you to fly by day all over Australia in good weather. From a basic PPL you can add a night rating and an instrument rating.
Commercial Pilot Licence
There are many reasons to go on and obtain your CPL. For some it will be just to become more professional and proficient in their personal flying. For others it is a pathway to a new career.
